It's been over a month since our last round-up of reader photos, which is just bonkers, guys! It's not for lack of super adorable photos, as clearly you guys have tons of those. This week's batch could most easily be summed up by these keywords: animals, dads, and rainbows.
This is Offbeat Families's archive of pets posts.
I'm about to embark on a two-month road trip with my husband, seven-month-old baby, and our two 90-pound dogs. We'll be living out of our car and tent hiking and camping across the United States. We decided to test the boundaries of what having a baby in your life means and want to introduce him to the world early. My husband and I used to travel in our car for a couple months at a time (pre-baby), so why stop now?
You might remember our sponsor Susan Sabo Photography as the vendor who kicked off the great conversation we had about cultural appropriation after I interviewed her last year. Then again, you might not remember, and you're just blown away by her photos, wondering how you can get her to capture your family. Long Beach, California families get excited: Susan Sabo has pulled the plug on the wedding side of her biz and now exclusively snaps families and kids, and she wants to meet you.
I am forever a goner over any photo of a kid in a superhero costume, like the one above of Owen — that Spider-Man costume is stellar. Speaking of: these photos are largely dude dominated. Where are my tiny female saver-of-days?! You guys can drop those and more in our Flickr pool. In the meantime, here's a batch of this week's reader snaps.
This first photo is just all kinds of right — amIright!? I saw it and just sort of sat in my computer chair, half-melted by all the love and the cuteness and the sweetness and OMG YOU GUYS it's just so precious. It turns out pretty much the entirety of the Flickr Pool is precious these days. Reader photos are some of my faves, and you guys deliver the goods this week.
